Tecan has worked with leading manufacturers of cell culture consumables to develop automation-friendly cell culture flasks.
The Corning® RoboFlask® vessel provides the following advantages:
- Fully automated pipetting including multiple access through the
pierceable septum cap
- Bar coded for sample and consumable tracing
- Compatibility with existing Tecan instrumentation such as the robotic manipulator arm and storage device, thanks to its standard microplate dimensions
- Smaller footprint and less than half as thick as a T-75 flask but with 23% more growth area
- Available with choice of standard tissue culture treatment or with Corning® CellBIND® surface treatment for improved cell attachment
- Removable septum cap for both automated systems and manual applications
