Tecan offers a wide range of disposable tips for use with the liquid handling (LiHa) arm, on both Genesis and Freedom EVO® series instruments. Tecan Liquid Handling Disposable Tips are carefully designed, produced and validated to ensure reliable liquid handling performance.
Manufacturing is fully automated in a class 8 clean room, using state-of-the-art production processes and integrated quality control procedures. During production, each tip undergoes on-line optical inspection, checking all functional parts to ensure consistent pipetting accuracy and precision. In addition, tip trays are color-coded for easy visual determination of tip volume on the worktable.
LiHa disposable tips are available in a variety of volumes, with or without filters, and are made of conductive materials to allow liquid level detection. Two purity levels are also available – Tecan Standard and Tecan Pure – each tailored towards specific applications. Tecan Standard tips are supplied in space-saving cardboard packaging, whereas Tecan Pure tips are blister packaged for high purity applications.
