Weigh Station Wizard

Tecan combines the use of the weighing station hardware and software to provide a complete solution for weighing and dissolving compounds.

The Weigh Station Wizard is a software component which efficiently automates the entire dissolving process on the Freedom EVO platform:

  • Weighing of empty vials (Tare)
  • Holding the data in a database
  • Re-weighing the same vial once a sample is added (Weigh Solid)
  • Using the data to assign a sample weight
  • Calculating the correct amount of solvent to add
  • Addition of solvent and mixing (Dilute)

A user interface guides the user through the processes of taring, weighing and diluting the compounds.
