Fast, reliable and easy to use batch processing for microplate assays

The Connect is a versatile microplate stacker designed to allow walkaway batch processing for up to 50 microplates per run. It can be used with a variety of Tecan’s detection and separation devices, offering researchers increased throughput for a wide range of applications in genomics, proteomics, drug discovery and diagnostics.

The compact system can accommodate all common microplate formats, from 6- to 1536-wells, providing rapid and smooth transport of plates to and from the host instrument. Its easy-to-use software allows processing to be initialized at the click of a mouse, and is designed for straightforward integration into a range of Tecan instruments, such as:

A choice of 30 or 50 plate cassettes to suit your throughput requirements
Almost any plate type may be used, including all 6- to 1536-well plates conforming to ANSI/SBS standards, plus Tecan’s own microarray slide holder
Universal design of interface plate for all supported Tecan instruments
A unique interface plate for convenient fine positioning of the host instruments while teaching of the gripper loading position
A barcode scanner option which can read barcodes on either short side of the plate
An optional dark cover to protect light-sensitive well contents from laboratory lighting
Connect interfaces directly with LS server, Magellan™ and i-control™ reader software as well as HydroControl™ washer software for easy operation
