AffinEx

AffinEx is a line of consumables with unique Protein A affinity sorbent optimized for automated mAb capture with Resolvex® positive pressure processors. Designed for antibody purification workflows, AffinEx does not require environmental controls or preservatives in the columns making it ready to use out of the box.

Available formats include Tecan’s trusted Cerex® and Narrow Bore Extraction™ (NBE) 96-well plates, 1ml, 3ml and 6ml columns, consumables in large format, such as 50ml 6-wellplates and beyond.

Simple sample prep.

AffinEx is delivered with a dry sorbent bed, its sorbent is built with a unique polymeric backbone unlike typical agarose sorbents removing the need for preservatives and refrigerated storage conditions.

2-year shelf life

AffinEx has a 24-month shelf life under typical ambient conditions, which affords logistic conveniences for shipping and storages, as well as handling during automation workflow.

Custom solutions

AffinEx is available in our trusted Cerex and Narrow Bore extraction (NBE) formats with standard fill weights for quick ordering. For labs in need of more specific solutions, AffinEx can be customized to suit your needs with various fill weights, volumes, formats and more.

Scale and automate

AffinEx consumables are fully compatible with the Resolvex positive pressure processors, from manual processing with Resolvex M10, semi-automated processing on Resolvex A200 and full automation with liquid handling with Resolvex i300, workflows can be scaled up or down, with or without automation depending on the needs of the lab.

Automatable workflows

The above steps are an example of how AffinEx can be used in automated sample preparation. The steps were performed using Tecan’s Resolvex A200 positive pressure processor and AffinEx in Narrow Bore Extraction format. The programmable pressure profiles on Tecan’s automated positive pressure processors allows sample preparation to be automated, saved and reproduced when needed. Positive pressure can be used for sample loading, processing and elution providing your lab with increased walkaway time.
