This application package provides state-of-the-art hardware and software to automate your colony-picking experiments in an easy and cost-effective way. The Robotic Manipulator Arm™ brings the source plate to the light table, and a high resolution camera takes a photo. The Pickolo software then analyzes the image and selects colonies for picking according to your individual criteria. The template script provided makes it simple to set up the picking process while maintaining the freedom to define a variety of different colony selection criteria, micro-organisms and agar types.
