Automated DNA library preparation
for PacBio long-read whole genome sequencing with the DreamPrep NGS Compact.

 

This technical note compares the manual preparation of DNA sequencing libraries using PacBio’s SMRTbell® prep kit 3.0 with an automated protocol on the DreamPrep NGS Compact platform.

In addition, it shows that running automated medium throughput workflows with minimal user interaction deliver high quality and consistent libraries, allowing staff to do more meaningful work than performing long repetitive protocols.
