Tecan is dedicated to inspiring innovation and curiosity in our youth. The Tecan Scholarship Program provides scholarships for youth to purse their interest in the environment and/or science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (S.T.E.M.).
Scholarship recipients must be sponsored by an active Tecan US employee. If you’re between the ages of 6-18 who have been fully admitted to a Qualified Program in the United States or Canada, are invited to apply!
The Tecan Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents (holders of a Permanent Resident card) who have not received a Tecan Scholarship within the current fiscal year.
Scholarships will be awarded to students participating in S.T.E.M. and environmentally focused programs. Eligible programs include:
How much is the Tecan Scholarship?
Scholarships of up to $1,000 will be awarded per applicant per year.
What is the deadline for submission?
Applications deadlines: January 5th, March 1st, June 1st, and August 1st.
What happens if I miss the submission deadline?
All applications received prior to the cutoff dates will receive consideration during the upcoming Committee Meeting. Any applications received after the quarterly deadline, will be considered at the following Committee Meeting.
How do I know if I won?
Once a winner has been chosen a member of the committee will contact that individual/parent directly to notify them. The committee member will also discuss the next steps for sending the funds at that time.
How many students can be sponsored by a Tecan US employee?
Each Tecan employee may only sponsor one applicant per year for scholarship consideration.
How often are funds distributed?
Funds will be distributed to applicants quarterly.
