As scientists we are spending a lot of time to select the best assay for our experiment to get the best results. However, it is equally important to select the right settings for the assay to get even better results. Fluorescence is a basic measurement technique used for cell based and biochemical assays. Here we demonstrate a 21─fold optimization of the Signal to Noise ratio (S/N) by only tweaking the settings of your multimode reader.
