Can I dispense a sample dissolved in glycerol?

Dispensing compounds with up to 20 % glycerol

Samples dissolved in aqueous buffers can be dispensed with concentrations of up to 20 % glycerol.

Glycerol affects the viscosity of the liquid, and therefore has an impact on the dispense performance. To accurately dispense glycerol with the D300e, please select the correct fluid class from the ‘Class’ drop-down menu, as shown in the image below:

If your sample has a glycerol concentration below 5 %, choose the relevant detergent option highlighted in blue. If your sample contains between 5 and 20 % glycerol, choose one of the options highlighted in orange instead.
