You want to change the location of the Magellan files, for example to a network or to another folder on the local drive.
The standard parent folder for Magellan™ after installation is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Tecan\Magellan(Pro)
Subfolders are created automatically for the different Magellan™ file types:
Magellan Standard
All directories can be changed individually by the user, except the folder for the standard curves. The latter is always the same as the wsp folder.
To change one or more directories, click the “Miscellaneous” icon in the Wizard List start page, then “Options” and the “Paths” tab.
Find the path you wish to change and click the “…” button. Browse through available directories in the resulting dialog box, select the desired location and click “OK”.
Magellan™ Tracker
In Magellan™ Tracker you can only change the Export and Bitmaps folders by each user.
The parent folder can be changed by a Magellan Administrator and is valid for all users:
To change folders, click the “Miscellaneous” icon in the Wizard List start page, then “Options” and the “Paths” tab. Select the desired paths by clicking the “…” icons and then “Change default data path”. 
After changing paths, the complete folder structure is created automatically.
