How to export data into a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) in Magellan (Pro) ™/SparkControl Magellan™

Introduction:

This article describes how data can be exported into a LIMS system using ASTM-export in Magellan.

The data sets for export must be chosen in the menu Data handling\Data export:

Next, under Automated data handling the checkbox for an automated ASTM export must be checked.

The button More… allows you to set more detailed export settings according to the customer’s needs like delimiter definitions or Sender ID.

The ASTM file is saved using the same file name as the corresponding wsp-file.

As a prerequisite for the ASTM export a sample ID list needs to be imported.
