SUNRISE, a new microplate reader from TECAN

TECAN announces its latest absorbance microplate reader, the SUNRISE. With an innovative range of options, this versatile reader gives diagnostic and research laboratories all the features they need for high throughput of absorbance assays. Through a novel touchscreen option, the SUNRISE operates without a PC, saving you space and adding a new dimension to user-friendliness and computer-independent data processing.

Based on TECAN’s successful SPECTRA range of readers, the excellent optical performance and high quality of the SUNRISE will guarantee you fast, reproducible and accurate measurements. This competitively priced reader also comes with a three-year warranty.

The SUNRISE is a modular system so you can create your own tailor-made instrument that meets your needs exactly, without having to buy in unnecessary extras. Options such as free wavelength selection, temperature control from 20 to 42OC and bar code scanning can be added onto the basic system, as required.

As with all TECAN modular instruments, the SUNRISE can be integrated into robotic systems for full walk-away automation. Analysing complex data is easier than ever before with TECAN’s new Windows-based, data-reduction software, magellan.
