Tecan’s Freedom EVO® now comes with a MultiChannel Arm option

Tecan’s Freedom EVO® MultiChannel Arm (MCA) module, with a 96 channel pipetting head, offers higher productivity to automated liquid handling processes in pharmaceutical and biotechnology research applications. The module can be mounted onto Tecan’s Freedom EVO 100, 150 or 200 platforms, increasing the efficiency and speed of pipetting processes for better throughput, and delivering a greater level of flexibility.

The MCA works with both disposable and washable tips, which are automatically interchangeable during a run, and can access the whole worktable, with plenty of space beneath the head for other modules. The 96 channel head on the module can also operate as an 8 or 12 channel head as required, pipetting into one row or column at a time, such as when performing in-plate serial dilutions.

In addition to the MCA, up to two other independent arms can be fitted onto the Freedom EVO at the same time, offering multi-functionality and true parallel processing. The MCA is fully compatible with all Freedom EVO options, and many third party devices.
