TOPS 2.0 FOR GENESIS RMP LAUNCHED

TECAN AG introduces the latest TOPS (Test Orientated Plate Scheduler) software, version 2.0, specially designed for busy diagnostic and blood screening laboratories. This easy-to-use, flexible Windows™-based package allows you to define the types and combinations of ELISA assays run on a GENESIS RMP (Robotic Microplate Processor).

One run can take in archiving, pre-dilution, sample distribution, incubation, etc. up to results interpretation, saving you time and valuable resources. Common pre-dilution can be easily defined and can now be used for different assays in the same run. A novel "colour change dispense check" confirms that samples and/or reagents have been added, supporting the latest assay technology supplied by the diagnostic industry.

TOPS 2.0 has the ability to transfer samples from primary to secondary tubes so that further screening assays can be performed on other systems.

A GENESIS RMP with TOPS 2.0 gives diagnostic and screening laboratories a walk-away assay system with an enhanced data reduction package which automatically evaluates, exports and prints out assay results.
