Andreas is Tecan’s General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors. He joined Tecan in 2004 and was appointed a member of the Management Board in 2012.
Together with his team, he covers all areas of corporate law, including compliance, commercial law, contracts, intellectual properties and licensing, corporate governance, M&A, stock exchange regulations as well as medical device regulations.
Before joining Tecan, Andreas was a legal counsel at Bär & Karrer in Zurich, Switzerland (2000-2004) and at GHR Rechtsanwälte AG, Zurich, Switzerland (1997-1999).
Andreas is an Attorney at Law (University of Bern, Switzerland) and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Boston University with a focus on intellectual properties, securities regulations and international business transactions.
