Heino von Prondzinsky steps down from the Board of Directors of Tecan

Zurich, Switzerland, 2 February 2007 – Heino von Prondzynski, who was elected onto Tecan’s Board of Directors in April 2006 by the General Shareholder’s Meeting on request of BB Medtech, informed the Board of Directors of Tecan on Friday afternoon of his immediate resignation. In his press release, accompanying his resignation, he made serious allegations against the Chairman of Tecan’s Board of Directors. The Chairman of Tecan dismissed these allegations as completely unfounded and wrong. The Board of Directors of Tecan thanks Heino von Prondzynski for his collaboration.
