Tecan is pleased to announce the signing of a new government services partnership agreement with Technical Communities, Inc. The agreement authorizes Technical Communities to distribute Tecan’s innovative liquid handling platforms, including the Freedom EVO® series and the Freedom EVOlyzer®, as well as Sunrise™ and Infinite® series microplate readers, and HydroFlex™ and HydroSpeed™ washers, to US government organizations. “Tecan is pleased to be working with Technical Communities to offer our government customers more flexibility in how they purchase our instrumentation and workflow solutions,” said Peter Siesel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tecan US.
The Tecan product range will be managed by Technical Communities under General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS), providing government agencies with greater access to laboratory instruments and solutions and offering cost savings. “Technical Communities is excited to be able to offer the federal government a safe, efficient and flexible array of laboratory solutions,” commented Peter Ostrow, President and CEO of Technical Communities. “Our expertise in the federal market will help Tecan’s well established reputation in the scientific community achieve greater reach into US government purchasing organizations.
