Tecan launches new purity standard for consumables

With the introduction of Tecan Pure, Tecan has created a new benchmark for consumables purity. This innovative standard is tailored towards molecular diagnostics, forensics and genomics research applications, and is initially available for blister packaged Liquid Handling (LiHa) Disposable Tips. Tecan Pure tips are manufactured using fully automated, state-of-the-art production principles, and Tecan’s validated quality assurance processes guarantee that all Tecan Pure products are free from human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors. To guarantee consistently high quality, every batch of tips is tested and certified by an external laboratory*, and each pack of tips is supplied with a Tecan Certificate of Conformity (CoC) to provide full product traceability.

The updated range of LiHa disposable tips is available in either Tecan Pure blister packs or Tecan Standard cardboard packaging, and is now supplied in color-coded racks to offer easy identification of tip volume, minimizing the risk of user errors for improved process security.
